Since you mentioned your gesture is working properly During an Activity, please go to your System > Backlight menu and double check your Not During an Activity setting for gesture is also set to On. (O r maybe set to After Sunset so you won't see it during the day.)
Additionally, I'm not sure whether this is a bug: Activity started (touch works again, after restart) Navigation started, by navigating to a point on the map; Touch works to swipe through screens; When I go to Menu>Turn by Turn, I can't swipe up/down to go to the next navigational instruction. When I use the up/down buttons, it works perfect.
try soaking in warm water with dawn dishsoap. then try compressed air at the buttons. if you don’t have an air compressor and small nozzle, the cans of air used for cleaning computers should work. Soak, blast, repeat. took me about 5/6 treatments but saved the watch. it was power button that was stuck so yeah it wont stay on as it was acting
Backlight Settings Not Working. amb67 over 1 year ago. I've just purchased the Fenix 7X and seem to be having issues with my Backlight. During the day all is great, it's bright and wrist gesture works perfectly. At night it only lights up very dimly, around 5% would be an estimate. Yet all my settings show 50%+.
I got my Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar yesterday, updated the firmware to 7.20 (latest shown) and everything seemed to be fine I tried to select an activity via the top right button, pushed it, screen lit up, no list of activities, etc. (worked fine earlier in the day), tried a long press, same issue, short press same issue. The button is
Wash it. Use warm, soapy water and leave it to soak for a little while. Then press the button a bunch of times while it's under the water. It's probably built up dust or salt from your sweat between the button and the case. reckn • 4 yr. ago.
